Flyability ELIOS 1
The first version of the Elios anti-collision drone from Swiss manufacturer Flyability. It is suitable for inspections of industrial hall structures, tank and boiler interiors, collectors and pipelines. We also use it during the intervention of the IZS (Integrated Rescue System), for example, for surveys of the interior of buildings before the entry of members of fire brigades.
Specification
Basic characteristics
The Elios 1 anti-collision drone is housed in a protective cage that is made of carbon fiber for the lowest weight and highest durability. The entire protective structure is mounted on a gyroscope-like device, allowing the protective cage to rotate smoothly around the UAV. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to crash the machine directly into the wall and rotate along it while a detailed inspection of the object is carried out.

Usage
Flyability Elios 1 can be used any time you do not want to risk endangering either the inspector or other people, material or traffic. There is no need for heavy equipment or complex preparations and measures. The speed of inspection is many times faster. The inspector has access to recordings in classic full HD video format or single frames and video taken with a thermal imaging camera.
The great advantage of this small and robust UAV is the ability to see into places completely inaccessible to humans.
Bonus HW
The UAV has an adjustable LED illumination. With the use of a rangeextender (optional drone accessory), the machine can operate in places beyond the range of the pilot’s transmitter signal. Combining these two factors, we are able to fly, for example, even in dark, rugged and inaccessible to humans pipes.
