Docking Station for Fire and Rescue Service Cameras

The docking station application, after connecting the camera or cameras with which the emergency team was on the scene, performs an automatic synchronization, which consists of reading all the files on the camera and evaluating which videos are already backed up and which are not.

If some of the videos are not backed up, the program automatically creates the appropriate directories according to the camera ID, time of acquisition and station where the controlling PC is located.

One copy of the directory with the videos is backed up secretly, under a password, to this PC. This saved file will be stored on the disk for a period of time defined by the Fire and Rescue Service administrators. After the set period of time, the application will automatically delete the files on the disk (this is only a temporary backup).

The second copy of the files is sent with the directories to the network servers of the HZS PK (Fire and Rescue Service of the Pilsen Region), where they will be stored according to the operating procedures of the HZS (Fire and Rescue Service).

At the same time, the camera settings are synchronized so that all cameras work in the same way (setting the recording method, time resolution).

The program runs nonstop in the background on PCs at the HZS bases around the Pilsen Region.  All settings of the application and all further editing of files are allowed only after entering the login data of the administrators.
