FPV Drone Racing Pilsen
Pilsen is not called the drone capital of the Czech Republic for nothing. This first urban FPV arena was created for the second year of the Dronfest in 2017. It combines an outdoor area with fly-throughs of the building. It is completely netted to provide protection for spectators. Of course, when Dronfest is held here, large outdoor screens with a realtime image seen by the pilot of the racing drone are provided.
Raceway parameters – 30 x 40m, side nets up to 8m high, artificial grass surface, 2x entrance to the raceway, lighting, electrical hook-up, a flyover of the inside of the building is connected to the raceway, flags, gates, fire extinguishers and of course the most important thing, a ladder to get the drones out of the net đ
The racing arena is used by the FPV community in Pilsen for training and competitions. Children from our Robotics Centre clubs take their first steps here, where they build their first drone, debug it and learn how to fly.
Of course, this is also the place where the biggest drone festival in the Czech Republic Dronfest takes place.
